What is Muscle Response Testing?

MRT is based on the concept of internal energy fundamental to traditional Chinese medicine; muscle testing is a noninvasive way of evaluating the body’s imbalances and assessing its needs. It involves testing the body’s responses when applying slight pressure to a large muscle, to provide information on energy blockages, the functioning of the organs, nutritional deficiencies, and food sensitivities, among other things. It can also be used to test the body’s responses to herbs and other remedies. I use Muscle Testing routinely and sometimes in conjunction with other analysis such as hair testing or urine and salvia laboratory testing. If you are suffering from muscle-related problems such as cramps or fibromyalgia symptoms, this may be an efficient way of learning more about your current condition.   Prior to your appointment it is recommended that you do not ingest any supplements for a 24 hour period. If you are currently taking prescription medication continue to take as recommended.

What is Kinesiology?

Your body is electrical. You can do a simple but fun test at home. Take a gold ring (such as a wedding band) tie a string or thread that is approximately 10 to 12 inches long. Hold the end of the string in your hand and balance your arm so that your hand is not moving. Now concentrate and imagine the ring moving in the direction that you are thinking. Change the direction you are thinking and the ring will reverse or just concentrate on stopping the ring all together and the ring will stop. It’s pretty amazing and it's a method of showing how your body’s electrical system functions and also how powerful thoughts are are to our physical bodies.

This electrical/muscular relationship is a natural part of the human system. It is not mystical or magical. Kinesiology is the established method for reading the body’s balance through the balance of the electrical system at any given moment.

Your muscle power is directly linked to the balance of the electrical system. If anything impacts your body's electrical system that does not maintain or enhance your health and your body's balance, your muscles when having physical pressure applied will not be capable of holding their strength. However if pressure is applied while your electrical system is being positively affected the muscles are able to resist, the circuits remain strong indicating that your body's electrical system is balanced and capable of fully functioning.
