Today I had a wonderful meeting with Coach Woods celebrating Black History Month.
I met some incredibly nice people. Some of whom have been suffering with colds and virus’s during the winter season. The following are a couple of recommendations that have helped me get through this time of year:
This is a great recipe for heading off a cold or virus before it has time to assimilate into your system. I have found that when you first get that scratchy sensation in your throat and start feeling lethargic immediately start gargling with the following products which can be picked up at your local mom and pop health food store.
1) Grape fruit seed extract Brand (nutribiotic)
2) Oil of Oregano Brand (source naturals)
3) Sea Salt Brand (Hains or any other)
4) Colloidal Silver Brand (Natures Sunshine on products page)
Directions:
Take 10 -14 drops of Grape Fruit Seed Extract, 4 drops of Oil of Oregano, 1 Tablespoon of sea salt and 1 tsp of Colloidal silver. Mix well and gargle 4 to 5 times per day until symptoms subside. The taste is not that great but it is quite effective. Make sure you only use 4 drops of the Oregano because it burns intensely if used in excess.
If you have already got a cold or virus…you can drink the grapefruit seed extract as well as the oil of oregano in recommended dosage. Also, take a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with 8 ounces of water. You can do a search on apple cider vinegar and read testimonials of its effectiveness. Olive leaf extract (from nature’s sunshine) is also wonderful support for your immune system. As always vitamin C with bioflavonoid is very beneficial. Drink Plenty of water and get enough rest. I hope this information is helpful please email me if you have any questions.
