She recognizes the importance of how the body, mind and spirit work together and strives to treat the patient with all of these in mind. She works with the patient at their own pace to personalize a nutrition plan.
Her areas of expertise and interest include diet and chronic disease prevention, plant-based diet and cooking, mental health and nutrition, mindfulness, one-on-one counseling, food sensitivities and GI disorders, clinical nutrition, cross-cultural foods, and food photography.
Faith is certified as a registered dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). She received her BS in Nutrition from West Virginia University and completed her Dietetic Internship at Life University in Marietta, GA. She also has a BA in Journalism and a BS in Broadcast Media from Washington Adventist University. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, AND (formerly American Dietetic Association, ADA), Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine dietetic practice group, and the Vegetarian Nutrition dietetic practice group.
